I went from being a kid who played guitar in his room to finally making the big step to do it for a living and I thought, “This is a crazy notion, playing music full time, but I’ll try it”.

My music is acoustic. It’s got a lot of influences from jazz and funk music. So I would call it “New Acoustic Music”, as kind of a broad term. Don Ross

The life of an artist, I’ve said it before, is not an easy one. It’s difficult, it’s challenging, it’s full of failures, it’s full of very difficult lessons, all kinds of things. But if you persevere, and you do what you’re passionate about what you want to do. It’s really important not to have people telling you what to do. It’s really important to do what you feel passionate about. If you’re any good at it, people will notice.
