Geela Jaw is a mother and artist who enjoys living in a thoroughly modern in spite of the challenges she faces to preserve her traditional designs in a contemporary context. 
I just draw what I’ve seen and what I can remember as a young girl, and that I don’t see as much now that I am older and have a job now and don’t get to go out on the land as much.
The internet can increase what the artists can make. I like to make my own designs look modern and at the same time be traditional. I didn’t get what my parents or grandparents taught me. I only learned few of what they taught me.
