Qavavau Manumie combines a legacy of knowledge with an original approach and perspective in his print making… he stresses originality and discipline in both his practice and teachings. 
My name is Qavavau Manumie, I am living on Cape Dorset. I’m working on stone cutting prints, I’m an artist and a printmaker. I like the spirits, I like little people, I like animals, I like those very much.
I’m still learning, its like art, I can see anything in my eyes, that’s why I learned that, I like it.
