The Mi’kmaq Maliseet Nations News (MMNN) is a not-for-profit Aboriginal newspaper, which is currently in its 16th year of distribution. The newspaper serves as a prominent communications link among First Nations communities throughout Atlantic Canada.
With a Nova Scotia based branch office of the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network-APTN the Indigenous voices of Atlantic Canada are being heard. One example is an APTN partnership with Telefilm Canada and the launch of the second edition of the Featuring Aboriginal Stories Program.
